Detailed Instructions: Following SATNAV using postcode NE70 7HP, this will lead you to the entrance of the driveway off the B6348. You will see signage on the fence for BELLSHILL TOWER. Follow the track and you will be greeted with a lovely view of the Tower. There is ample parking within the boundary of the Tower for 3 cars. We are approximately 20 minutes North of Alnwick travelling via the A1. Landmarks to look out for when you’re approaching the left turn off for the B6348 are Adderstone Services/Purdy Lodge on your right or the brown tourist signs for Chillingham Castle on your left. It is a sharp left hand turn you’ll be making, signposted to Wooler and Chatton through two stone gateposts. Follow this road for 1 mile and you’ll see the entrance on your right (single farm gravel track).
If you’re coming from the North via the A1, we are approximately 20 minutes south of Berwick. Look out for the huge grain silos on your left, continue past the signpost for Belford and look out for the brown tourist signs for Chillingham Castle or sign posts for Wooler and Chatton. Follow this road for ½ of a mile and you’ll see the entrance on your right.

It is also possible to reach us by train and taxi. There is a direct route from London Kings Cross on the East Coast mainline, operated by LNER. There are stops at Newcastle, Morpeth and Alnmouth.
