Our young heifers, (cows that haven't had a calf) enjyoing the sunshine on New Year's Day.
We leave our young heifers out over winter so that they can mature and grow. They will go to the bull when they are 2 years old.
These cows are in the field next to Bellshill Bothy, so anyone staying in the Bothy can look out and see these heifer along with the fantastic view of the Farne Islands and Banmburgh Castle
Happy 2020 everyone
